Avielo’s game-changing projectors
Avielo doesn’t just set the bar, they don’t just raise the bar, they own the bar. Their projectors have pushed the performance envelope so far that they’re forcing a recalibration of standards for the entire industry. Their pedigree comes in part from parent company, projectiondesign, a Norwegian company that was the first to demonstrate a 1080p single-chip DLP front projector. They specialize in high resolution scientific visualization and simulation, medical imaging, and e-cinema. How do you say “cool” in Norwegian?
Optix is designed with a wide range of configuration options which allow it to deliver unparalleled performance, even on the largest screens — no easy feat. Its patented DuArch Dual Illumination Architecture is a new approach that delivers options for superior brightness and color saturation under a variety of conditions. You won’t find a DLP projector that performs better under challenging conditions anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (or anywhere else for that matter.) Be sure and catch the October issue of Sound&Vision for a great Brent Butterworth review of the Optix.
The Helios also allows a wide range of options to adjust for room conditions or personal preference. It’s a go-to for superior images even in daylight conditions, scoring perfect numbers on critical color, grayscale and gamma characteristics in a test by Home Entertainment magazine. Unlike many manufacturers Avielo makes everything themselves — no rebadging of mass-produced components and no shoehorning in someone else’s technology. This DLP projector uses Avielo’s own proprietary optical design. DuArch Dual Illumination Architecture is the backbone of this projector, offering performance options you just can’t find in similar-looking DLPs.
