"We give our unqualified and enthusiastic endorsement to Sound Cinema Integration for their world class capabilities in all things audio and video in the home environment. We purchased our house in June 2010 and quickly realized that all the existing capability was either outdated or not functioning at all. We have had very poor experiences with previous AV contractors and were determined this time to do our due diligence and find the best available. We found Sound Cinema Integration on the internet and Kerry responded very quickly to our queries and was especially fast in providing references for us. Those references were all ecstatically positive, and we knew we had found the professionals we were looking. for.
Kerry and Andrey spent a few hours going through our house, listening to our ideas and giving us many ideas of their own. We appreciated their creativity and also their candor about what was possible and especially what the cost trade offs would be. We never felt like they were selling us on some cookie cutter configuration that earned them the most margin. They left and within two days came back with a comprehensive quote for everything we had talked about. By "came back" they both drove back to our house, walked us through all the detail, and we shook hands on a specific schedule for getting the work done. We liked the commitment to our job and the willingness to over communicate to insure we had the right expectations.
The work took several weeks. Andrey was a whiz at running wires and setting up the network. Kerry referred a contractor (Sergei of Prestige Inc) who SCI does many jobs with, and he flawlessly handled all the drywall cutting, repairs and repainting. He also fit in a variety of other jobs we needed done in our new house. For Andrey's part he kept us fully updated on progress, and the couple of occasions requiring change orders were carefully documented.
Especially helpful was the training and fine tuning Andrey patiently worked through with us, and the job was not considered complete by either he or Kerry until all of this was done. We had a number of followup questions and issues, and each time the response was same day and spot on.
We now have our dream system up and running--4 screens, 2 surround-sound environments and audio feeds to 7 other rooms. We are able to run Pandora on Roku and port the sound to every room. We love the Prodigy remotes. Roku also handles Netflix and Amazon streaming movies. Andrey fine tuned our 2 plasma monitors to the best pictures we have ever seen.
All told, a superb effort by a great company. And we made two new friends to boot."

"I found Kerry (SCI) as a result of cold calling, searching for components, cable, etc. and advice about updating the entertainment system in our Atherton residence, around the beginning of the year. I had been avoiding the decisions associated with the change, and was still watching/listening to SD. I had custom Tivos with source-to-burner capability and didn't want to part with them.
After a few exchanges, I realized that Kerry was originally associated with San Francisco Stereo, who satisfactorily designed and equipped my system 15 years ago. She is extremely knowledgeable, and what initially started out as a one item purchase, evolved into a visit from SCI's technical director, Andrey, who wound up installing a new, updated system, to include all components, cabling, and a new HD satellite dish, for seven rooms in the house.
I'm not all that easy to impress, and I have a little OCD, which causes me to over-attend to detail. Worse, I ask a lot of questions, and not everybody enjoys working with me. Further, I don't like to recommend businesses or restaurants. That said, I've worked with many so-called high-end technicians and contractors in the past, and Andre is among the best I've worked with. He knows what's out there, completely understands the technical end of it, and is one of the cleanest, most careful installers, in the presence of expensive, finished surroundings, I've ever watched. The install was among the cleanest and neatest I've ever seen.
While the project was not budget constrained, I have strong feelings about not over-spending for equipment and components that perform well beyond my ability to perceive the sometimes very subtle and esoteric differences that only sensitive digital monitors/meters can measure. As a result I was very comfortable telling Kerry and Andrey that I wasn't as interested in having bragging rights on the block, as I was in building a system that gave me pleasure and enjoyment to the limits of my ability to actually hear and see the differences.
They understood completely, and at every choice point gave me a range of options and prices, explaining the differences in both technical and practical terms, that allowed me to determine where my tastes and ability to appreciate intersected with the characteristics and costs of the items described. In every instance, the prices they quoted were competitive with other outlets and operations that represent/distribute the same lines.
The system has been up for a few of months, and my family is thoroughly enjoying it."
